SSTI and the New Qualified Storage Manager (QSM) Designation
In January 2008, SSTI announced that it will expand its online educational offerings to include a comprehensive continuing-education program for facility management employees and owners. We have partnered with industry hard-hitters Jim Chiswell and Mel Holsinger, former owners of the Self-Storage Education Network (SSEN), to create a broad-based curriculum allowing students to achieve a designation as QSM. The new program will evolve from the web-based educational platforms developed over the past two years for SSTI and SSEN. Participants will take classes in webinar format at their convenience, from the comfort of their own computer.
